Uncle Vanias, founded by Hippocrates Vanias in 1975, (all trademarks reserved by EVIPE S.A.), is a food manufacturer and a franchisor in the Greek peninsula.
The company produces and sells high-quality products such as Thessaloniki-style custard-filled pastry known as bougatsa, pies, syrupy treats known as syropiasta, and much more.

With over 30 franchised and company owned stores to date, it is evident that the absence of royalties, low construction and equipment costs, small up-front fee and long-term contract of up to 12 years, combined with a high return on capital, are the reasons behind the chain’s rapid and successful growth.

EVIPE S.A. possesses an EU exports code and has already taken the first steps in the process of acquiring ISO 9002 and HAACP certification. All products are prepared in the company’s own facilities located in Ionia, Thessaloniki.
